Hello everyone! Welcome to Blonde Girl Writing Blog, where I share about faith, writing, and reading.

Today, I want to introduce you to the fictional world from my current work-in-progress, BULLETPROOF! It's a YA sci-fi novel that I've been working on for about two years now, and I'm so excited to be introducing you to it.

BULLETPROOF is about finding the real you through exploration of a world much unlike our own. Paola Armulo, Creator of BULLETPROOF

BULLETPROOF is an all-immersive, open-world, VR game, developed by Paola Armulo, Mr. Stoneface, and Techie. It includes six separate “Zones", one of them the result of a glitch. Each Zone has its own people, notable features, and infrastructure.

Now, here is an overview of each of the Zones!

This is the 8-Bit Zone, home to the 8-Bitters. Think of every video game ever created clashing in this one zone. Notable features include Tropolis, the main city; the Champions' Center, where 8-Bitters train for the Annual 8-Bit Games; the Suburbs, where many 8-Bitters live; and Questville, where people can go to get quests related to the Zone.

This is the Training Grounds, a large building where Mr. Stoneface oversees and trains people picked for the Glitch Zone mission. It's not technically its own Zone, and you can find it within the 8-Bit Zone. It's impossible to get to without a hover-car or Portal, however, and only those who are authorized can even get close.

This is Country Acres, home to the ihra. Its only town, Acres Village, is very rustic and plant life flourishes there. The rest of the zone is taken up by orchards, farms, and ranches.

This is Skyland, home to the Clouds. It’s a beautiful place with many cities and villages arranged in a cloud shape. Everything is white and blue, airy and beautiful, and there are lots of sculptures, murals, and stained glass windows wherever you go. Notable features include Sunset and Sunrise Squares, where the sunsets and sunrises for all of BULLETPROOF are created; the Weather Control Center, which houses six giant machines for each kind of weather and controls the weather for all BULLETPROOF; and Launch Pad Landing and Skydive Peak, optional ways to either exit--by skydiving--or enter the Zone--by getting launched from Country Acres.

This is Brine Coast, an undersea Zone known for its many waterfalls and artistic Aquarions. Notable features include the four lookout towers, which are used to look for dangerous weather and storms; the Fishing Wharf & Seafood Market, where fishers go to sell their catch and people and BULLETPROOFers of all kinds can go to buy seafood; and the Water Barrier, which keeps the seawater out of the Zone and keeps oxygen in while dispelling carbon dioxide.

This is Volcanica, a literal volcano where Volcanoes and Undergrounders live in general harmony with each other and mine minerals and precious metals to sell and create things from. Notable features include the Minerals and Precious Metals Mine, where most Volcanoes and Undergrounders work; the Great Library, the most extensive collection of books in BULLETPROOF and the clearest history of all the Zones; and Bubbling Lava Marketplace, where Volcanoes, Undergrounders, and people come together to buy, sell, get tattooed, and get pierced.

This is the Glitch Zone, the sixth unofficial Zone in BULLETPROOF. It’s a crumbling, dark ruin with run-down towns split into four sectors, each controlled by a gang and its Leader. Many innocent people have been trapped in this Zone, and many of those have been corrupted by Lorcan's shadow soldiers. Things are often in flux, except for the Ruler of the Glitch Zone, Lorcan. North Sector is controlled by the Dragon Gang; East Sector is controlled by the Snake Gang; West Sector is controlled by the Tarantula Gang; and South Sector is controlled by the Wolf Gang.
